 Welcome to Mr.Curry'sClassroom

Welcome to Mr.Curry's classroom.  In K-5 art we concentrate on covering all the curriculum in an motivating , effective and fun way.

This is the second year for this most special art show where various stores in downtown Littleton each display 3 to 5 pieces of art from a school  of L.P.S.  Some stores have 2 schools.  The center of it all is the Garage Gallery 5784 S. Rapp where there is 1 piece from each participating school ( Haleigh S. (4/5) from Sandburg) and this is where the reception is on Feb. 21 4 to 6 P.M.  The art walk or tour of the entire art show starts from there where one can obtain a map.  Sandburg has 4 more masks displayed the Pottery Studio 5739 S. Curtis: David H. and Colleen R. (5M), Addie B.(5P) and Emily H. (5W).  Great fun and great art!  Congratulations!

 October and November News

Thanks to P.T.O. President Carrie Warren-Gully and the Museum of Nature and Science we will have a stuffed fox and a stuffed beaver in the art room for October and November.  We will also have a couple of smaller stuffed animals, perhaps a marmot.  They will be for the 4th grade study of Colorado wildlife.  The 4th grade wil use a variety of media to express their artistic vision of these amazing creatures.
