Counselor's Corner

I am Elaine Fischer, the school counselor. This is my third year working as the counselor both here at Sandburg Elementary as well as at Peabody Elementary. I spent the previous 12 years in Littleton Public Schools working with Special Education students. And, prior to that, I worked as a medical social worker, primarily focused on women and children.

I provide a variety of services at Sandburg, including individual and group counseling, whole class lessons and consultation to parents and teachers. More information will be sent home in the coming weeks regarding the types of services I provide. I will also be visiting all classrooms to introduce myself to your students.
